End of Summer fun Bring on Fall

Monday, November 2, 2009

WE'RE BACK! Finally we were able to get our computer fixed!! (thanks Jason!) So its been a busy summer/fall so far. But life is going well. Beau is good, working hard as usual, Teri getting bigger and ready for February to be here. Savannah is getting so big way to fast. Its amazing how fast she learns things and the little things she picks up on! And our little Eliza soon to be turning the big #1. So crazy, she is walking all over the place and thinks she should be able to do whatever her big sister does. They both are so beautiful. But can we just say how much TROUBLE!! We are in.

We had a great Halloween!! We carved pumpkins and took the girls trick-or-treating. They looked so cute in their costumes. Savannah was a pro this year and had a lot of fun, and got lots of treats. This was Eliza's first year and it was so funny to watch her expressions when she saw all the costumes. But she had a good ole' time. I thought she would be trying all night to take her costume off but she could have cared less that it was on. But she did care about getting her candy and watch out if you try to take it away.

Savannah carving her pumpkin she wasn't so sure she wanted to clean it out but we finally talked her into it and after a few times she was hooked and she just wanted to spend the rest of the time cleaning the pumpkin out. What a nut!!

Look how cute they are!!! Our Butterfly Princess and our little Ladybug. Whats funny about Savannah's costume was when we picked it out she absolutly hated it and didn't want anything to do with it. But she must have warmed up to it because she was so excited to put it on and it took an army to get it off.

Enjoying Spring!!

We are really enjoying Spring time, we have been able to get out of the house and enjoy the warm weather. We took the girls into Washington DC for our annual Cherry Blossom trip. Talk about crazy day!! There were so many people there, driving around was a joke. Beau was ready to give up and go home, it was that bad. But thanks to Uncle Jason, who saved the day!!! We ended up making it and had a great time and got some fun family pictures, so we guess it was worth the craziness.

Our girls are very lucky to have some cousins that live close enough to spend time with. Thanks to Alexandra, Victoria and Bella our girls are never lonely. (We love you guys!!)

The Cherry Blossom's are beautiful! If your ever in DC around that time they are a must see!!

We had a wonderful Easter. Savannah actually seemed to get and understand the concept of dying the eggs. She was so cute, all excited about seeing and knowing all the colors and mixing them together, it was an adventure for all of us.

We had a lot of fun dying eggs!!

We also spent some time on Easter at Uncle Jason & Aunt Melanie's for dinner. Then the kids got to have an Easter egg hunt. Savannah was so funny she was all excited to go find eggs, grabbed her basket and headed outside. Once we were outside though she realized she would have to walk in the grass (which was longer than normal) to find the eggs. She was not to sure she wanted to that. But soon figured out that was the only way she would get her eggs so off she went. But if there was an egg under a bush or somewhere she didn't want to go she would let you know and politely say "pweese" asking you to get it for her (cute girl).

Here is Savannah out finding her eggs after a little coaxing

Eliza missing the egg hunt to catch up on her sleep.....

Our little " bucket head " I think she enjoyed the bucket much more after Easter was over. What a goof!!

We have also had some great weather, which makes us even more excited for Summer we have lots of fun things planned. We are so ready to hit the beach and the zoo. Savannah will be turning 2 soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and Eliza is 4 months, we can't believe it where does the time go??? What can I say we just want our girls to stay little. We have really enjoyed watching how different they are and seeing their own personalities come through. Savannah is a leader, often stubborn and determined but has such a tender heart! Eliza is so sweet!! You can't help but smile when you look at her and those baby blue's, and her cute little dimples. She is such a happy girl! They are both so full of life and so much fun we couldn't ask for more.

We are so blessed!!

We love our Girls - xoxo

Every Day Life

So here we are at the end of March and so much
has gone on. Grandma Harmon, Aunt Riley and Uncle Ben came out to visit for about a week. We had such a great time with them here. They got to be here for Eliza's blessing which was so great! Uncle Ben got to be apart of the blessing (Thanks Uncle Ben) We got to enjoy or first "real" snow storm here in Virgina. The snow lasted only a few days and melted away during our almost 80 degree weather. I think Mom brought the snow with her and took it home when she left. Savannah and Eliza enjoyed spending time with them and getting to know them better. Thanks you guys for coming we love and miss you!!!

Game Night! We introduced them to "5 Crown" I think they liked it. So much not long after Mom went home she went out and bought it for herself

I think Eliza loves her Grandma Harmon look at that smile!!

Grandma with both girls

We took the girls to the Aquarium in Baltimore
It was a lot of fun. Savannah loves fish and couldn't
get enough of them. It's an amazing aquarium so much
to do and see. It was fun to see Savannah look at these
fish that were the same size as her or bigger! But I have
to say I think Savannah's favorite part was the Dolphin
show. It was such a great day the weather
was probably in the mid 70's it was beautiful and so nice
to have a family outing with just the family. I think we
need to do that more often.

Daddy and Savannah say CHEESE!!

Keep on Growing!

Well its been a busy few months. The girls are
growing like crazy! Savannah has been such a great helper! She loves her sister so much and constantly wants to be with her and give her lots of love. Eliza is growing like crazy 2 lbs. in 21 days (Hallelujah!!) What a switch from Savannah who we are still trying to put on as much weight as we can, she still is not on the scale for her weight (our little drama queen) Gotta love it!!

Savannah is still very obsessed with the bumbo chair. She used it when she was little, and of course she grew out of it but she still wants to use it even though when she sits in it she gets stuck. But now Eliza is big enough to sit in it. Savannah is constantly brings it over for her to sit in "baby sit" is what she says to inform me she wants Eliza in the chair!

Oh How Sweet!!

It was so sweet we spent the entire day out running around and on the way home both of the girls fell asleep. Savannah fell asleep holding on to Eliza's car seat. When we arrived at home we literally had to pry her hand off the seat, she wouldn't let go, what a cute picture though!!

This is what happens when
you fall asleep at our house!

Savannah loves her stickers & her Daddy!!!!

Uncle Lee came out to visit a few
weekends ago. It was a quick visit
but we enjoyed every minute. We
got to take him into Washington
and showed him a few of the high-
light. We spend a few hours trying
to get up close and personal with
the White House it was great!!
We love & miss you Uncle Lee!

Savannah got her first real experience with snow!! Finally, we got a little bit of snow!! Mom was so excited! we went to Aunt Wendi's and got Savannah all bundled up to go sleigh riding. We thought she would really enjoy it because she has a slide at home and loves to go down that as well as the slides at the park, she shows no fear. But we couldn't have been more wrong!! She screamed the entire time we were outside, we were shocked! Not so fun but she looked so Cute!

We are loving life with the girls and are getting really excited for the end of February, because Grandma Harmon, Aunt Riley and Uncle Ben are coming out to visit!!! We are blessing little Eliza. It will be great to have them here to share that with us, so stay tuned for more great photos.....

New Baby Eliza!

We have not updated our Blog in a while "Sorry" But there have been a lot of things going on but obviously the most exciting news is our new addition to the family!!!

Here she is! Isn't she beautiful! Her name is Eliza Ann She weighed 5 Ibs 9 oz (just a little peanut) Everything went well during the delivery, such a different experience from the first. She is so sweet, lots of dark hair and very olive colored skin (just like Mommy!!) Savannah had no hair and very fair skin (just like Daddy!) So as Grandma Harmon would say we've got a little " Salt & Pepper"

Here are a couple pictures of a very Proud Daddy with his two beautiful girls! It has been so fun to see how much Savannah loves her new baby sister. We knew even before Eliza came that Savannah would be an amazing big sister. But now that we have them both here its been so fun to watch Savannah with her. She absolutely loves her to piece's. She loves to hold her and give lots and lots of kisses! She would mug her constantly if we would let her, what a great big sister Eliza has!!!!

Forever Friends! Aren't they the Cutest!

We had a great Christmas!! Having both of our girl at home, healthy and safe was the best Christmas gift ever. But we also had some visitors. Dad and Jill came to spend Christmas with us. They flew in Christmas Eve and stayed with us for the following week. It was so fun to have them here. We just hung out and enjoyed eachothers company. Both of the girls enjoyed getting to know Grandpa Pink and Grandma Jill better. We 've decided that they need to come out more often, and we need more family to come and visit.
