New Baby Eliza!

We have not updated our Blog in a while "Sorry" But there have been a lot of things going on but obviously the most exciting news is our new addition to the family!!!

Here she is! Isn't she beautiful! Her name is Eliza Ann She weighed 5 Ibs 9 oz (just a little peanut) Everything went well during the delivery, such a different experience from the first. She is so sweet, lots of dark hair and very olive colored skin (just like Mommy!!) Savannah had no hair and very fair skin (just like Daddy!) So as Grandma Harmon would say we've got a little " Salt & Pepper"

Here are a couple pictures of a very Proud Daddy with his two beautiful girls! It has been so fun to see how much Savannah loves her new baby sister. We knew even before Eliza came that Savannah would be an amazing big sister. But now that we have them both here its been so fun to watch Savannah with her. She absolutely loves her to piece's. She loves to hold her and give lots and lots of kisses! She would mug her constantly if we would let her, what a great big sister Eliza has!!!!

Forever Friends! Aren't they the Cutest!

We had a great Christmas!! Having both of our girl at home, healthy and safe was the best Christmas gift ever. But we also had some visitors. Dad and Jill came to spend Christmas with us. They flew in Christmas Eve and stayed with us for the following week. It was so fun to have them here. We just hung out and enjoyed eachothers company. Both of the girls enjoyed getting to know Grandpa Pink and Grandma Jill better. We 've decided that they need to come out more often, and we need more family to come and visit.

Summer Fun

BUSY SUMMER!!!
We had such a great summer, we're almost sad to see it go. But along with all that fun comes the inevitable busyness where you end up needing a vacation from your vacation. Some of the most enjoyable times this summer were spent in Utah. We took a week and flew to Utah where we were able to attend three family reunions. They were all a lot of fun but it makes the time go by so fast that you wind up always feeling like you just got there and then its time to leave.

Savannah Packing for our trip to Utah

Katelyn also got to fly back to Virginia with us and spend a week playing with Savannah and seeing the sights. Here they are in Washington D.C looking at the fun flowers in front of one of the many historical churches. We also got to see a few of the Museums. The Natural History, Air and Space, we also tried to see the American History but it was closed for renovation so guess Bug will have to come back to visit again. We saw a few monuments and just spent the day walking around D.C for the day. Katelyn also got to take her first Metro -Train ride to and from Washington.

While Bug was here we also took her down to Virginia Beach, Williamsburg and Bush Gardens.

We hit Williamsburg first, saw the sights and got put in jail

We hope she can come again and stay a little longer so we can have a little more time to see the rest of the sights. And just so the rest of you know your all welcome to come and visit!!! (hint -hint) We've got plenty of room

Here are just a few more photos of Savannah for you to enjoy!

Savannah's First Birthday!

So we celebrated Savannah's first birthday!! We had a lot of fun.
We took her to the Washington D.C Zoo and had a family party at our house. Here she is enjoying her cake. She was so funny she doesn't like to get her hands dirty so she started eating her cake by sticking one finger in at a time and licking it off and so on, but after a few licks she wanted more. So she stuck both hands in and grabbed big handfuls and shoveled them in her mouth. After a little while she realized her hands were messy and she waved them around in the air and made a whinny noise letting me know she wanted them wiped off, right now!!! As soon as we would wipe them off she would proceed to stick them back into the cake, we did this ritual at least 4-5 times. But it was fun to see her enjoy her first Birthday cake.
Here we are at the zoo watching a very lazy panda bear

Daddy and Savannah watching a very large elephant. Savannah was not to sure what she thought about the elephants

Savannah also loved the gorilla's, Orangutans and monkey houses
The D.C zoo has these big high towers over the park and they run from the orangutans house to what they call the "Thinking Tank" and the orangutans will climb these towers and at the top are two wires they can climb and swing on over the entire park to which ever building they want to be at. While we were there we saw two of them going across the wires. Its quite amazing. There are no nets and no cadges for them to crawl through they are just out in the open for you to watch!

We have and ice cream parlor withing walking distance from our house and we took Savannah for her first cone the other day. As you can see she enjoyed it very much! When she got done with hers she wanted to finish off Mom's. Savannah is now walking around everywhere and quite the busy body. We can't wait see everyone when we come out to Utah in a few weeks. And to Lee " I finally did it, I told you I would"

Gunner and Peyton

also would like to

say hello. Gunner is our 1 year old 100 lb. yellow lab/pony. And you all remember Peyton our little wimpy dog.
